Glen Waverley Osteopathy
Return to a pain free life!
Hello!
Welcome to Glen Waverley Osteopathy. You have probably stumbled upon here looking for answers to your pain and discomfort, or perhaps to find out what an Osteopath actually does. For which ever reason it is, we are here to help. Glen Waverley Osteopathy (GWO) was founded in 2022, with the goal to create a clinic that welcomes and services all walks of life.
Our Osteopaths are expertly trained health professionals with plenty of tools at their disposal to tackle anything you throw their way. Osteopaths like to find the root of the dysfunction and treat it at its source. We love the body, the way it moves (or doesn’t) and embrace the challenge to figure out the reason why you may have pain or discomfort in the first place. With 5 years of university training and countless hours of practice, it’s our job to fix you. We treat from head to toe, not just necks and backs (although that is our forte!)
In helping you, we aim to positively impact your life. We want to get you back to doing the things you love with the people you love, thus having a positive impact on your physical and mental wellbeing.
You can expect to have a comprehensive examination of your entire body. We will look at your blood test results, imaging reports and will also ask about your physical and mental health. We will assess your movement and take note of what’s working and what isn’t. Our goal is to get you and your body humming like a finely tuned car with freshly pumped wheels. Think of us like the all in one bodywork shop!
Osteopaths in Melbourne are covered by private health funds, the Medicare Chronic Disease Management Scheme via care plans, and we can also facilitate Workers Compensation Claims, DVA patients and other insurance providers.
We look forward to welcoming you into our clinic and helping you with any Osteopathic needs you may require.

We will then begin treatment using a number of techniques like massage, spinal manipulation, exercise & rehab prescription, direct joint mobilization and more. We may then give you a few rehab exercises to conduct at home.
